Privacy policy

This policy explains what Nauvi collects, why it is used, how authorized account integrations work, and the choices available to you.

Last updated 26 July 2026

Who is responsible

The data controller is Jarie Tuytens, trading as Nauvi Ventures. Privacy enquiries and requests can be sent to jarie@nauvi-ventures.com.

Data we process

Website use

Standard hosting logs may contain an IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, and security events. This website does not currently use first-party advertising or analytics cookies.

Business enquiries

When you email or book a call, we process the contact details, message, scheduling information, and correspondence you provide.

Meta and LinkedIn integrations

When an administrator connects a Meta or LinkedIn account, the integration may process account and organization identifiers, Page or profile details, content and publishing status, permitted comments or engagement data, insights, and authorization tokens. The exact categories depend on the permissions approved by the platform and the administrator.

Why we process it

  • Provide the website, respond to enquiries, and schedule conversations.
  • Connect accounts and perform actions explicitly requested by an authorized user.
  • Display relevant content status, engagement, or performance information.
  • Secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
  • Meet legal, accounting, and platform-compliance obligations.

Depending on the context, processing is based on performing a contract, taking requested pre-contractual steps, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, consent where required, or a legal obligation.

Authorization and platform data

Only an administrator or other person with the required platform rights may connect an account. Nauvi uses platform data only for the functionality the user selected and within the permissions made available by Meta or LinkedIn.

Nauvi does not sell connected-account data. It is not used for unrelated advertising or to build independent audience profiles. Platform access can be revoked through the connected platform and, where available, through the Nauvi service.

AI-assisted features

Nauvi may use AI to assist with drafting, analysis, and workflow suggestions. This may involve prompts, instructions, reference material, generated drafts, feedback, and approved connected-account data needed for the requested function.

AI output is presented for review. An authorized user remains responsible for approving content before publication. Where required by EU law, the software identifies direct AI interaction and preserves or presents disclosures for AI-generated or materially manipulated content. Notices shown inside the software apply at the relevant interaction.

These workflows are not used to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about individuals.

Data deletion

You can ask Nauvi to delete personal data and data received through a Meta or LinkedIn integration. Follow the public data deletion instructions or email jarie@nauvi-ventures.com with the subject “Data deletion request”.

Removing Nauvi from the connected platform revokes future access. Use the deletion instructions as well if you want data already received by Nauvi to be removed from its systems.

Service providers and transfers

Nauvi may use hosting, infrastructure, security, email, scheduling, and AI providers to operate the service. They receive only the data needed for their function and act under contractual or legal safeguards.

The booking link leads to Cal.com, which processes booking details under its own privacy terms. Meta and LinkedIn process data under their own terms when you use their authorization screens or services.

Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, Nauvi relies on an adequacy decision or another lawful safeguard, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Retention and security

Data is kept only for as long as necessary for the purpose described above, an active customer relationship, security, dispute handling, or a legal retention duty. Authorization tokens are removed or invalidated after a verified disconnection or deletion request. Operational copies are deleted or anonymized when no longer needed; residual backups may take up to 90 days to cycle out.

Nauvi applies access controls, encryption where appropriate, limited permissions, and monitoring intended to protect data. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis. You may also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority or another competent supervisory authority.

To exercise a right, email jarie@nauvi-ventures.com. Nauvi may ask for reasonable information to verify identity and authority over a connected account. See the data deletion instructions for a direct removal request.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the service, legal requirements, or platform integrations change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel.
